This morning I prepped the vent door parts for primer. I clecoed the inside backer plate and brackets to the interior of the fuselage sides.
I final drilled the holes in these components and the fuselage sidewall skins to a #30 drill.
I then removed all of the clecoes and finished prepping all of the vent parts for primer.
I used the priming station an primed the parts so they are ready for the final finish before I install the vents in the fuselage side skins.
I riveted the vent doors, back-up plates and brackets together.
I purchased a can of Rustoleum Gloss Finish in Gray. Using the primer station I sprayed the components for the vents. They will dry overnight and I will install them tomorrow.
