I began prepping the tunnel ribs and forward floor section for nutplates. I used the #40 countersink bit to countersink the rivet holes in the sloped tunnel rib flanges and the bottom of the forward section floor. I also used the countersink on the oil cooler back-up angle so it would fit over the dimpled holes in the forward firewall.
I installed the K1000-3 nutplates on the forward floor. I stared to install the nutplates on the tunnel ribs. I will finish with the tunnel ribs install tomorrow.
