The rudder control horn arrived so I am not able to assemble the rudder. Having previously completed prepping and priming the parts, I began the assembly. I clecoed the upper hinge and spar caps in place and clecoed the rudder control horn. I also temporarily attached the lower bearing assembly to the V Stab. I followed the instructions and attached the rubber spar to the V Stab hinges. I determined the sequence of washers need for the assembly and took a photograph for future reference.
I then disassemble everything and began riveting the parts together. The spar caps and main rib, hinge brackets and then the rudder horn and lower rib. I also riveted the remaining ribs. I am now ready to install the skin.
