I finished masking the cockpit area. I covered everything but the longerons and the rear roll bar. The finish in these areas was scratched during the last few weeks/months of building. After taping and masking I used a Scotch Brite pad to smooth the scratches.
I also masked the forward bow of the canopy frame. I moved the frame support out into the garage so I could paint the frame.
After painting the canopy frame I re-painted the longerons and rear roll bar of the cockpit. I also painted the inside surface of the canopy skits. I will be ready to assemble the canopy frame and Plexiglas bubble this evening.
