Today I finished the work on the right flaperon. I finished riveting the rib skins in place and then clecoed the nose skins. I match drilled the inboard nose skin and then riveted all three sections of nose skin in place.
I then inserted the rod end hinge bearings in place. I used high strength Loctite to hold the bearings in as instructed.
I am now waiting for the replacement rib skin to arrive from Van's. Upon arrival I will be able to complete the left flaperon.
