Trimmed and Drilled Main Wing Ribs

I used the band saw to trim off the attachment angles from all of the right main ribs and six of the left main ribs.  I used a piece of 2/32" birch plywood to back-up the ribs on the band saw table.  It worked very well as a support for the ribs.  I learned this by watching a video on the EAA homebuilders website.

After trimming the ribs I deburred and polished the edges with the 6" Scotch Brite wheel.

I selected one of the trimmed left main rib and one of the trimmed right main ribs and clecoed the left and right rib doublers as shown on the drawing.  I matched drilled the #30 holes, removed the clecoes and deburred the drilled holes.
