Vert Stab Build Continued

During lunch I started the VS assembly. Separated parts and clamped the upper and lower spar caps in place. Clamped the spar caps into place and match drilled the #30 holes in the web of the spar to the spar caps. Clecoed the spar caps as the holes were drilled. Removed and deburred the spar caps, re-clecoed and drilled all #30 holes in the web and flanges of the spar.

I continued to work on the VS components. Completed the drilling and clecoing of the spar and upper and lower spar caps. Final drilled all holes. Removed the clecos and deburred the holes and edges using the ¼" grinder and a 2" Scotch Brite wheel and the dog leg deburer.

Using the microstop and countersink bits I did the required countersinking of the VS-1203 spar and spar caps including the VS-1208 rib. All of the VS skeleton parts are now ready to be deburred and prepared for primer.

Rounded the VS-1202, VS-1205, VS-1206 pieces and used a Scotch Brite pad on all parts.
