Work Table Modified

Today I modified the work table to make it longer in anticipation of building the wings.  I am waiting for the wing kit to arrive.  It will be a month late if it ships the week of June 15th as indicated by Van's.  I am really ready to start building again.

I have added 2' to both ends of the table to change it from 8' to 12' in length.

 

The ends fold down when not in use and the table is back to the original length of 8'

Initial Inspection

Glen Olsen, a Technical Counselor with EAA Chapter 23 came by last evening to give me the first of 3-inspections needed during the build. We had a great time visiting about flying and the satisfaction received from building an airplane. He told me it is obvious I am a perfectionist. I don't agree, but I am pleased that he said my work is "first class." Now I am sitting and waiting for the wing kit to ship.
